in March 2021, the RDC team conducted a series of trainings on «value chain development (VAC)» in the dairy sector, as well as on potatoes and other vegetables, which were aimed at increasing the capacity of consultant trainers in the field of agri-food producers for the development of VAC, in for the competitiveness of their business in the market. The purpose of these trainings was to disseminate knowledge and clarify the following business concepts for building a VAC:
Concept, analysis of CDS;
Current and modern supply chain system;
Benefits and risks in the formation of VAC;
Building an effective CDS;
Stages of creation and development;
The role of supporting organizations in the formation of the VAC.
The objective of the training was to help strengthen and improve knowledge on the development, concept and analysis of the CDS.
